Trying to keep productivity up as usual, so here's even more shameless reposting of art you already saw! Yay laziness!

Anyway the idea behind those Fakacon insignias is more the fighting style each character represents, or to put it more simply what Job they they represent, giving a basic idea of what each playable character can do. But mostly it would be a work around for story mode, using reskins to help negate repetition of fighting the same characters over and over as well as add in more characters to the narrative without needing to create entirely new movesets, need to throw in a fight with Lex Luthor in his Warsuit or Ira Gamagori in his Scourge Regalia? No problem, just rig the proper skin to the Iron Man's moveset. It would also make for great costume DLC possibilities especially if each reskin came with its own unique touches including unique voice clips, intros/victory outros, super moves and even arcade endings.

And because I brought up jobs knowing full well you'll be asking about it - 

SAVIOR- A high speed martial arts fighting style so pure it borders on divinity.

DRAGON FIST- A hotblooded form of martial arts that allows the user to build super meter quickly.

GADGETEER- An extensive arsenal of crime fighting tools that allow the user to adapt to nearly any situation.

ZANTESUKEN- While very capable of fighting hand to hand using ninjitsu this style's signature characteristic is a lightning charged sweeping blade weapon used for long range attacks.

PLASMA KNIGHT- Garbed in technological armor the user is able to create weaponized plasma used for a variety of attacks.

WEAPONSMITH- On top of using a unique artillery this style incorporates an ability to "copy data" from the opponent to create a temporary new weapon.

FAIRY QUEEN- A quick maneuverability style where the user can momentarily shrink in size to gain flight capabilities for more effective dodging.

LANCER MAGE- A magical style based around a staff weapon with the capacity for casting spells.

SCIENTIST- A rather laid back method of fighting using a wide assortment of techno traps and dubious ray guns that fire lasers of questionable properties.

BLOOD DONOR- The more damage this fighter takes the more attack options they gain as they create weapons out of their own blood.

TRAILBLAZER- Unleash the power of the sun upon foes with intense flames that are as alive as the one wielding them.

EARTHSHAKER- All four elements come together creating a harmonious array of tactical abilities.

LICH KING- Cause hellish chaos with wicked flailing chains that emit such deathly power they can call forth dead souls for added strength.

SPEED DEMON- Move like a shadow at such supersonic speed you'd swear you were outright teleporting.

WARMECH- The weakness of slow speed and being big easy to hit does little to limit the sheer destructive force this titanic form is capable of.

SONGBIRD- A voice that carries such pure resplendent fury that grand declarations and battle cries will deal psionic damage to listeners.
