As with many new technologies, the Biometals invented by both Thomas Light and Albert Wily were designed for war. They allowed oridary humans to stand on equal ground with not only the more powerful Reploids but the several metahumans cropping up in the world. But while Light only saw this weapon as a tool for obtaining peace, Wily was seduced by the power of his own invention and quickly saught to become the most powerful man in the world. Creating his own Biometal Wily he now had the means to control others through the neural systems of their Biometals, the sole reason for his continued distribution of biometals to metahumans....
...but as it turns out not every Biometal will be at his mercy, nor will every Biometal User be his to manipulate and command.
