Fan Fiction Fuel - Suicide Squad

With the continued reluctance of the Avengers it is becoming clear to the organization S.H.I.E.L.D. that the so-called "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" might not be the most loyal soldiers to rely on. As such there are already many plans being set in motion to come up with a suitable replacement, chief among them is Amanda Waller's premiere pet project the Suicide Squad.

Many question how a team typically made up of convicted fiends ranging from everything between serial killers to war terrorists could be the very pinnacle of loyalty, but it turns out Amanda Waller knows many methods of securing undying loyalty from even the worst of humanity.....sch as planting remote detonation capsules filled with lethal nerve toxins right into the backs of their heads...that or just C4 packets. True to its name to be a part of this team is a death sentence, membership is constantly changing and most members barely make it pass their first mission let alone their third.

As of now the only three members that can be counted as "series regulars" are Harleen Quinzel, James "Logan" Howlett and the man simply known as Jack. Jack is the cybernetic bi product of a savage uncivilized era known simply as the Patriot Wars. Logan being a near century old mutant with healing abilities that allowed him to survive combat with even a Super Saiyan space pirate. And Harleen? A mere nineteen year old high school drop out who was studying up to be a professional psychiatrist.....until she was swayed by one of the most evil fiends ever to grace Gotham City. These three have talents, skills and even blind luck that have made them survive mission after mission when all others haven't lasted more than three. 

Some have speculated that the Suicide Squad is still just a beta project to something much more concrete, as if this current team is just weeding out all undesirables and keeping only the best of the worst. How fortuitous it is for Waller then that there are already three candidates shaping up to be everything she could ever hope for in human weapons.
