The firece Black Lion, the Spartan deserter who grew tired of the recent increase of bloodshed, the kind of bloodshed that would break even the strongest of hearts. Women, children, men who are not meant to die in violence. All manner of innocent people all to satisfy the lust for blood of the very deity the Spartans pray to, it was not his cup of tea. And frankly he was not willing to serve the Gods if they just stand by and let this mad dog have his way.
He has since then become a heretic, leading a band of fellow deserters from all corners of the world in the pursuit of giving the middle finger to the lords on Mount Olympus. Their apparent code of honor and conduct is a rather strict one but not so much that they are above acting "barbaric" to get the job done. They have crushed small armies, plundered temples for loot and have partaked in wenches and maidens. Landarea himself is known to be a bit of a womanizer, not a bastard persay but he likes his women, and only women (one of the other reasons he deserted the Spartan army is that particular "requirement" they had).
But then, there was that one Airacleas kid [link] , all he did was save the little teen and suddenly Landarea's life is turned upside down (by the way, Lan is twenty two whilst Air is only sixteen). He was not too happy about being tricked into deflowering the little hermie bastard, but ever since then it seems the fate of both of them was entwined and slowly but surely the two had developed a rather unusual bond.
Having discovered Airacleas' identity as the "Sword of Athena", he had made it his job to see the young warrior returned to the world he belongs to. Promising Airacleas "that Airacleas' heart stays with him" didn't make it any easier to part with the kid, but it had to be done, Airacleas had to be returned to Athens. There is no telling what will happen afterwards...
