That's who the villain of the new Spiderman movie is going to be, or more to the point the villain is going to be Doctor Curtis Connors. I have mixed feelings about this personaly, I mean when you get right down to it he overall doesn't exactly have the star power of Green Goblin or Dr. Octopus. Granted it might turn out to be a better move to go with someone other than Green Goblin for this movie reboot. But more to the point he's kind of one of those villains who isn't a "top tier", I wouldn't be surprised if only hardcore comic fans will better appreciate his appearance while the general public will be like
"Oh brother Spiderman is fighting a humanoid dinosaur whoppty shit BRING BACK VENOM AND DO HIM RIGHT".
My hope is that the character in question Dr. Connors ends up being quite a nasty villain, maybe even a complete bastard. I really do not wanna feel sorry for this guy, I attitude is if you feel sorry for this guy then you can't fully take him all that serious as a villain (such was the case with Doc Oct and Sandman in the Sam Raimi films). I'm not saying he has to be a complete cartoony villain but at least have him be writen in a manner that while we might sympathis with him on some level we can't for the life of us be on his side at all. I think the best way is for him to NOT have a tragic transition from neutral to villain (which judging from the trailer might in fact be the case).
Other than that there's gonna be technological web shooters, Denis Leary as Comissioner George Stacy and some idiot who thinks Spidey is a cop. I so wanna see this movie...

Now allit needs is some JJJ and I'll be in the seventh heaven!
It'd be weird making Curt unsympathetic, since he's always been a tragic jekyll and hyde guy..
but it's going to be weird anyway because spider-man has squares on and weird shoes..
Venom might've been going to come back (remember, Dr. Connors still had a small sample of the symbiote Peter had given to him to study), or had something to do with Dr. Connors' turning into the Lizard.
Now..to me, they're trying to cop off batman to much....I mean seriously, the cops are out to arrest him, the crooks ask him if he is a cop(ring a bell?)?
Although, Andrew Garfield does look a little nerdier than Tobey Maguire did, and his speaking as spidey does sound more like his comic book counterpart (Tobey's didn't make that many comical quips).
I love it that they gave him mechanical webshooters. To me that makes more sense than them just inexplicably appearing organically in his wrists. Also it makes him seem more of a science geek.
The first trailer didn't impress but the latest one gives me hope. Spidey is finally snarky in a live action film.
