Patient was a promising botanist from Seattle. Despite a history of dealing with lecherous men resulting in a mild contempt for men in general she was otherwise a normal individual, at least as far as her public appearances would have many to believe. Turns out she has harbored a deep rooted pessimism regarding the inevitability of death and the mortality of human kind, beginning at a very young age with the untimely demise of her pet dog when said dog got a hold of a rat corpse full of rat poison. Since then her obsession over the years was the study of plants primarily the process of photosynthesis and the notable long lifespan of trees (particularly the Oregon Redwoods).

As with most long term psychosis' the obsession with plants slowly took a strong hold over the patient, all but leading her towards a dark path as she never got any help for her issues before. Her psychosis eventually lead her to pursue rather unorthodox and ultimately unethical ventures in the field of biological science, abusing her position at STAR Labs to amass equipment and materials to further along her experiments in "reformatting all sentient life on the planet". The proper authorities caught up with the patient before she could conduct her own human trials, as a result she ultimately used herself as a test subject.

To say the patient's transformation made her more dangerous than before is an understatement, fact is it ultimately magnified her deep rooted psychosis to extreme levels resulting in a new found messiah complex of sorts. Now as a vegetation class metahuman able to survive on mostly sunlight and water she is convinced that she has found the answer to saving mankind from its own mortality. What the patient either fails to realize or refuses to acknowledge is that her new genetic condition is most likely a fluke, many believe that she could have just as easily killed herself and that she will never be able to replicate the miracle that made her what she is now. She has already caused twenty non fatal casualties and about five fatalities trying to replicate that miracle....the latter five were the lucky ones...
